How we make ordinary shots look cinematic:

If you're used to creators delivering low-quality, lifeless photos and videos, it's probably because they simply don't know where to point the camera.

Some things (especially ordinary things) just don't make for great subjects. That's why the best photographers and cinematographers don't even TRY!

Instead, they focus on capturing the FEELING of the object instead of the physicality of the object.

Fire is notoriously hard to photograph - the framing rarely works when the subject is constantly taking new forms. 

But if I instead focus on a different object enveloped by flames, the viewer FEELS the fire even more! 

This works for everything from firepits to doorways. We capture the feeling, not the frame.
